Installation Guide:

Acoustic Panels with battens

We produce acoustic panels in prefabricated modules, which makes it easy to mount them on both walls and ceilings.

The simple installation makes the panels a perfect DIY project!

Quick guide:

DIRECTLY ON THE WALL

  • Adhesive: Apply assembly glue to the panel, press it firmly against the wall, and ensure a secure bond.
  • Screws: Screw the panel through the felt and into the wall. We recommend using 15 screws per panel, as illustrated. If needed, use rawlplugs suitable for your wall type.

ON A SHELL STRUCTURE
For optimal sound absorption, create a substructure using 45 mm battens, spaced 600 mm apart. Place mineral wool between the battens for improved acoustics. Secure the panel to the structure by screwing through the felt.

CUTTING PANELS
Need to adjust the size of your panels? It’s simple:

  • Cutting length: Use a sharp saw, such as a plunge saw, to cut through both the slats and the felt.
  • Cutting width: Use a utility knife to cut through the felt.

TIP: To achieve a cleaner cut and prevent fraying, apply painter’s tape along the cutting line before sawing. This helps ensure a smooth and precise finish.

Care Guide:

How to oil your panels

Want to enhance the look of your panels? Our Care Oil is an easy way to bring out the beauty of the wood while adding a personal touch to your space.

Choose the shade that best fits your home or workplace – whether you prefer a deep black, a soft grey, a classic antique tone, a warm natural finish, or a crisp white.

Applying the oil is simple, and the result is a surface that looks and feels just right for your style.
